Branded Carousels Without the Fiddly Part: Your Canva + AI Setup

The goal here isn't to skip the thinking. It's to skip the part where you rebuild the same layout for the tenth time, so your carousels stay on-brand and you get your evening back. This connects Claude straight to Canva. Do it once and every future carousel is a two-minute job.

1. Connect your Canva account

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and turn on Canva. You approve it once inside Canva and you're done.

2. Show it your style (this is the step people skip)

Upload two or three carousels you've already made and like. This is what stops the output looking generic. You're teaching it your look, not asking for a template.

Here are a few of my carousels. Study the colors, fonts, spacing, and the way I title slides. When I ask for a new carousel, match this style exactly. Don't invent a new look.

3. The build prompt

Build a 6-slide Instagram carousel on [your topic]. Slide 1 is a hook, slides 2 to 5 each make one point, slide 6 is a soft call to action. Keep the text short enough to read in two seconds. Use my style.

4. Fix one slide at a time

You don't have to accept the whole thing. Just ask.

Slide 3 is too wordy. Cut it to one line and keep the same design.

5. Send it back to Canva

Export this to my Canva account as a fully editable design.

Now it's in Canva if you want to nudge anything by hand.

How to use this: The first run takes ten minutes because you're setting up the style. Every one after that is a couple of minutes. Batch a whole week in one sitting and you never stare at a blank slide again.
